Comet C/2001 Q4 NEAT, 12 May 2004, 0424 UT. 305mm LX200 (f/7.5), ST8i, stack of twenty 10-second exposures collected over 12 minutes. Here is a version processed differently, median combined to remove the star trails and then the stars recombined with the image.

C/2002 O4 Hoenig
Comet Hoenig (C/2002 O4), 12 August 2002, 05:00 UT. 305mm LX200 (f/7.6), SBIG ST8i camera, 14.4 minute exposure . The star trails are 87 arcseconds long, indicating that the comet is moving against the background at 0.1 arcsec/second. Little structure is apparent, although there is a distinct tail pointing to the south.
C/2002 O4 Hoenig
Comet Hoenig (C/2002 O4), 15 August 2002, 03:50 UT.
305mm LX200 (f/7.6), SBIG ST8i camera, 17 minute exposure . The star trails are 100 arcseconds long. The tail appears to be becoming more prominent, particularly considering that the sky background is somewhat brighter in this image than in the last due to the Moon.
C/2002 O4 Hoenig
Comet Hoenig (C/2002 O4), 30 August 2002, 04:42 UT. 305mm LX200 (f/7.6), SBIG ST8i camera, 11.5 minute exposure. The tail continues to grow, although this isn't too clear in this image made through hazy skies.
