Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF

This comet was discovered by an automated survey system in March 2022. It reached perihelion on 12 January 2023 at 1.1 AU, and approached to 0.28 AU from Earth on 1 February 2023. It has an incoming period of about 50,000 years, but has been perturbed into an apparently hyperbolic orbit, meaning it will be ejected from the Solar System. At its brightest it was borderline naked eye, but easily seen with binoculars.
